well first of all I am 19 years old and i know if it happens it will be a long ways off, but my grandfather on myDads side died of lung cancer, my grandmother on myDads side had bladder cancer for many years until she passed away, and my dad had cancer in his neck (is that called lymphoma?) he was diagnosed about six months prior to his passing. (a heart attack was what caused his death). that being said, it would seem to me that its likely that I will develop cancer at some point in my life. I’m a moderate smoker, and we all know thats going to put me at much higher risk for lung cancer if i do not quit. But aside from that, is there proof that cancer runs in families?

Also, does anyone know if lymphoma could have anything to do with a healthy, 55 year old man having a spontaneous heart attack?
